Chanel Gabrielle Essence is defined as a Floral Musk scent to the nose based on the notes. Olivier Polge created the scent formulation. Gabrielle Essence begins with a breath of citrus and fruity top notes, including citrus and red berries. The heart center notes of white flowers and yellow flowers mingle with jasmine, orange blossom, tuberose, and ylang ylang, while the deep musk and woody base notes evoke musk and sandalwood.
