Description
Alexander McQueen’s scent My Queen aims to encapsulate the diverse variety of perfume as well as an image of the woman of his dreams. A true kaleidoscope of fragrances in one bottle, developed by two great perfumers – Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion – is extraordinary, fascinating, enigmatic, and irresistible. Instead of the traditional three levels, the scent has a unique four-level structure.
The fragrance begins with notes of almond and violets and gradually evolves into a clean perfume of orange, white musk, heliotrope, and white flowers. Patchouli, cedar, and vetiver notes emerge later in the scent, which is followed by iris and vanilla notes. The bottle has a mystery violet hue and is incredibly feminine, with beautiful, finely defined contours.
Alexander is an avid collector of glass art, and it was his intention that the bottle of this perfume, in addition to being beautiful, feel at ease in the hands of any lady. Thomas Bastide designed the bottle.
