The inventive designer Anna Sui’s latest fragrance, Forbidden Affair, is inspired by the world of dreams, fairy tales, and imagination. Every girl may feel like a princess in this world; she can be adorned and privileged, and she can indulge in a perilous and forbidden relationship with the prince of her dreams. The scent Forbidden Affair evokes forbidden love and a passionate craving, dreams, and some long-ago events, unveiling buried feelings you didn’t know you had.
For the first time, Cyclodextrin technology is used in the aromatic composition. This technique allows the top notes to reappear over and over, revitalising the fragrance for a long-lasting sparkling fresh sensation.
The Forbidden Affair of Anna Sui begins with a lovely fairy tale told by fresh lemon and red and black berries.
The entire design idea revolves around a secret meeting between a prince and a princess, with elements drawn from classic fairy tales such as Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty. It was influenced by Baroque and Rococo gardens, palaces, boudoirs, royal attire, and an opulent lifestyle.
This design harkens back to the mid-eighteenth century.
