Comme des Garcons released the Blue Invasion collection in the summer of 2013, which will comprise three “blue” fragrances— Blue Encens, Blue Cedrat, and Blue Santal—in distinctive flacons that are blue, iridescent from the darkest to the lightest hue. The new scents are designed to highlight a striking contrast by combining opulent warmth with sea freshness. In three separate methods, olfactory evocation of the interesting contradiction portrays the blue hue as ageless and extremely powerful.
