Perfumer Jerome Epinette from Robertet developed the fragrance. The exotic fruit sensation is created by the fresh top notes of lemon, grapefruit, and blackcurrant. Jasmine, lotus, and neroli make up the floral heart. The foundation is made up of sandalwood, gardenia, and cottonwood.
The turquoise bottle is topped with a golden cork embellished with gold blossoms and dragonflies.

Anna Sui crafted a lovely and bright exhibition of a garden in full bloom with the Romantica scent, which debuted in September 2015. The American-Chinese designer evokes a tropical island filled of exotic fruits in the new edition Romantica Exotica, as well as her fantasy of romance, freedom, and happiness. The new scent will be released in the summer of 2016, and it was inspired by her trip to Tahiti.
